Sides and bow of the half-pontoon slope inward, permitting two or more to be nested for transporting or storing. The stern of the half-pontoon is square and carries fittings which permit two half pontoons to be joined stern-to-stern, forming a whole pontoon. Each half-pontoon weighs approximately 1,750 pounds.
